In memory of my mentor, Slydini.   The Art of Magic is over 8000 years old. As it evolved into a performance art, basic principals were refined and 'cast into stone'. Slydini, being self taught, completely unhampered by traditional

thinking; based his techniques upon nature, human physiology and psychology. He literally re-invented The Art of Close Up Magic. He came to America during the depression. Many years of struggle lay ahead. Those fires forged a brilliant, compassionate artist who went on to perform all over the world for the rich and powerful, movie stars, magicians, connoisseurs of Magic and the 'common man'. He treated them all with dignity and respect.   I honor his memory every day. I love and respect him, and always will all the days of my life. "D"
